Laura Kubisiak : Taqueria La Mejor #2
The first few weeks of Spring Quarter have already flown by and our team is beginning to implement our plan of action that we created for the restaurant before spring break. So far, one of the most important aspects of our responsibilities has been maintaining contact with the members of CET. There are several things that we are working on at the restaurant that need to get done before doing anything else, so we have been communicating with CET to make sure that those essential tasks are completed as soon as possible.
Although most of the pieces of our project involve CET, there are several things that we are able to do by ourselves. One of our priorities was to ease the waitstaff into delivering the orders to the correct table, so we just recently ordered plastic numbers for the customers to take when they place their order. When we first visited the restaurant, we noticed that this was one minor issue that could be easily fixed and would make it easier for the waitstaff to know which table to deliver orders to. Since that task is now accomplished, we can move onto the next action on our list.
Despite our initial efforts to begin implementing our plan of action, there is still a lot of work that our team needs to get done. Looking at what we have to accomplish before the end of the school year, I think this quarter will require a lot of hard work, dedication from all group members, and patience, but I know that we will be able to accomplish all of our goals. I am looking forward to working hard and watching how this all plays out.
