Our Team Has Loved Building a Strong Relationship with our Business
As we continue to immerse ourselves into a new quarter, there is excitement as our groups finally get to implement the plans from our research and planning from last quarter. We have not only be able to learn more about issues within Silicon Valley that contribute to cycles of poverty, but also how these factors might apply to our lives and that of our partnering business owners. With a more knowledgeable perspective we hope to better tackle working with our small businesses, balancing our business owner’s input with our own, and taking in everything we can learn from this experience.
Our group is working with Immaculate Cleaning Essentials to help with marketing and management organization efforts. Currently, we have worked with our business owner to find a QuickBooks class to better help her understand how to use its tools and organize her business information. Our hope is that this will greatly help her understand Immaculate Cleaning’s performance, accounting, and with scheduling her employees. Additionally, with marketing we have been working on a new logo.
Moving forward, we are prepping marketing with social media, new business cards, a newsletter, revamping the business’s current website, and some SEO optimization. With any money leftover we hope to get uniform shirts with the new logo and invest in more advertising. Through all of this, we are trying to keep up communication with our business owner, gather her feedback, and make sure we all are making decisions together. Our team has loved building a strong relationship with our business owner and hope to continue this for the rest of the quarter. Hopefully our efforts pay off well for such a great person and her business!
