We Are Finally Getting Started on All of Our Ideas
Last Friday, my team got the opportunity to sit down with Licia and Sergio again to finalize the business plan and to finally get started on all of our ideas. We had the new marketing material, the new business cards and flyers, approved by Licia and Sergio. We plan on getting these printed out and posting the flyers in the multitude of Catholic churches in the San Jose area. Our main goal for Licia and Sergio is to bring in new customers because their fantastic customer service allows them to retain their customers successfully. We also discussed a new idea for a referral system that would allow both new referred customers as well as the current customers that referred them to get 10% off of their purchase. We see this word-of-mouth technique as being their strongest form of marketing since that is how Licia and Sergio get many of their new customers. We are still deciding on a vendor to produce their new sign based on quotes we have been receiving. Sergio has a friend that would be able to make the sign cheaper, so unless there are any better offers, we are going to use them to produce the sign. We also discussed a very large order that the business is trying to fulfill in the next few weeks. They are filling an order for glass bottles of holy water with special engravings on them for a special local Portuguese occasion. This is currently in the works and will be potentially worth a lot of money for the couple.
