What is your favorite career advice you’ve received?
Don't build a 10 year career plan and get attached to it, allow yourself to be flexible and operate with a growth mindset. Use college as your resource to explore different potential career pathways and focus on the technical, professional, and soft skills you want to build.
What excites you about becoming a PCC?
I'm looking forward to helping students understand their talents and passions, explore different career options, and find the pathway which best aligns with who they are and who they want to build themselves into!
What is one piece of advice you would give to students looking for internships?
The internship search and recruitment process requires patience and commitment. You may have to apply to several different internships to get an opportunity, but be intentional about how you apply and how you present yourself. Don’t simply cold apply - try to reach out to SCU alumni at the companies you apply to and network!
