What excited you about becoming a PCC?
I'm looking forward to helping underclassmen explore potential career paths whilst leveraging my experiences to short-cut struggles along the way.
What is your favorite career advice you’ve received?
Go into interviews/networking chats as if you were Nardwuar (yes, the hip-hop interviewer). Obsess over the company/person and understand everything that they do. You'll knock the behavioral questions out of the park and understand where you can provide value.
What is one piece of advice you would give to students looking for internships?
Create create create! Whether it's building your own side project or writing thought pieces on a blog, having a tangible portfolio will give you a huge advantage over other candidates. You'll gain invaluable experience building something from scratch and can create opportunities for employers to learn more about you. Most importantly, you'll be able to attest to these learnings in interviews!
