The Santa Clara Tech Sales Network serves as a bridge to connect the hundreds of SCU alumni in tech sales with current SCU students. Just like sales, everyone is encouraged to join, no matter what they study, as long as they come ready to learn and connect with others! We’ve been thankful to hold a variety of recruiting events, sales workshops, and campus visits so far and are excited to continue to elevate the club.

Even if you don’t end up being interested in a career in sales, TSN can still be a great place to learn strategies about networking, persuasion, and negotiation. For me, it’s also been useful to speak about being in TSN in coffee chats with alumni and interviews at several tech companies to really prove my interest in the profession. 

In terms of leading the club, it’s been an eye-opening experience to see what it takes to build something from the ground up. Plus, it’s super rewarding to hear about club members gaining an internship or full-time job in sales especially when they hadn’t considered it before joining!
