What did you do this summer? Analyzed large-scale transactional datasets (SQL, Python, Excel) to support buy-side and sell-side due diligence for private equity and corporate clients. Validated financial KPIs and reconcile data discrepancies between management reports and raw transaction-level data. Delivered concise client-ready materials summarizing complex datasets into actionable insights for executive-level presentations in dashboard and visualizations to present KPIS, retention metrics and cohort analyses.

Hopefully you’ve grown both professionally and personally from this summer experience. Name one or two “life” lessons you learned and will carry forward after graduation. The importance of networking and being open to a conversation. After coffee chatting endless amount of people I was able to not only gain valuable work advise but also life advise. Be proactive about communicating, during my internship I was able to first handedly see how important communicating on progress of tasks and updating team members.

What has been the most memorable part of your experience? My most memorable part of my summer was being able to present to one of the clients we had and complete mosts of the finding on my own, with the aid of my peer buddy. Leading up to this I was super nervous, but completing this ask meant a lot to me because it meant by team trusted me and knew I could do it.

What advice would you give to younger students who are searching for summer opportunities? DO NOT STRESS SO MUCH. Apply to as many opportunities as you can, network as much as you can this goes a long way, but know that everything will work itself out just be proactive.
