What are you doing this summer? This summer I assisted in the planning procedure for asset and wealth management clients. This consisted of meeting with teams to prepare audit work papers, document findings, and address client inquires.
Hopefully you’ve grown both professionally and personally from this summer experience. Name one or two “life” lessons you learned and will carry forward after graduation. During my summer experience, I learn the necessity of communication and adaptability. Communicating with my team throughout the day ensured efficiency allowing for a more productive day. I also discovered that adaptability is essential, as shifting priorities required me to adjust my approach.
What has been the most memorable part of your experience? The most memorable part of my summer experience was getting the know the other interns, and getting to hangout with them after a long day of work.
What advice would you give to younger students who are searching for summer opportunities? My advice to younger students looking for summer opportunities is to apply widely and take every chance, even if it feels like a reach.
