What are you doing this summer? Met with different staff to hear about their experience at the company and other people from other branches to learn about the different opportunities at EY. Got to experience being in the office in-person, having a 9-5, and learning about the company culture. Worked with different teams helping with tasks such as different IT controls for their client.

Hopefully you’ve grown both professionally and personally from this summer experience. Name one or two “life” lessons you learned and will carry forward after graduation. An important life lesson I've learned and that was reinforced during my internship was never being afraid to ask a question. Whether it be a clarifying question on how to complete a task or a question asking why you're doing a task, the answer will only help you.

What has been the most memorable part of your experience? I would say the most memorable part of my summer experience was going in person to the office and all the event they had for the interns and at the office for the different teams. We've had many fun events that were held after the work day with the tech risk team and also just the interns!

What advice would you give to younger students who are searching for summer opportunities? I would say to make the most of your time here at Santa Clara and the network we have readily available to us. The professors, other students, and alumni are all great connections to learn about their work experience and their own individual process.
