LSB Student Spotlight - Faolan Sugarman-Lash'20 Management Major and Entrepreneurship Minor
I am a senior studying Management and minoring in Entrepreneurship. I am passionate about nature, philosophically inclined, and an avid reader. Recently, I took advantage of the extra time borne from the quarantine to start a podcast. I have always been curious about how successful people like artists, Instagram influencers, and entrepreneurs actually become and stay successful and what it means to follow one's authentic path. So, I thought that I would put together a podcast in order to teach and inspire listeners to live their own authentic paths and to illuminate potentially hard to understand careers. In addition to the podcast, I have been busy keeping passing grades in my final few classes and raising money for Unicef. Some friends and I were wondering how we could contribute to the COVID-19 epidemic and decided to raise money by shaving our heads. We successfully raised over $1,700 in just under a week. All in all, there are good days and bad during the quarantine and also in life. Just remember that you're never alone and that things will always get better. If you're growing and learning, nothing else really matters.
