Arun looks forward to sharing his experience with students. As a student, he learned the hard way that career value was derived and dictated from taking action. After his first year of college, he struggled to find an internship (admittedly, he didn’t try very hard) and then settled for something he did not enjoy. He learned that job satisfaction came from a number of factors: interest, skill, impact, and earning. After that first summer, he went on and held 9 jobs related to his field of study, received over 20 job offers, and worked full time in a job that has enabled tremendous career growth and education. After graduation he was employed in a selective, top performing group at a Big Four accounting firm, moved to London, started two side businesses, and gained admission into a top-10 MBA program as one of the youngest members in his cohort. He will talk more about the lessons he has learned along the way.
