International Business Competition

International Business Competition:The Leavey School of Business invites MGMT 80 students to apply for the 4th Annual International Business Case World Challenge, taking place on February 27 and 28, 2026. Since its launch in 2023, this competition has grown into a flagship experiential learning event at Santa Clara University, attracting strong student interest and participation each year.

This year’s competition introduces an exciting new dimension. Santa Clara University students will collaborate with students from San José State University, working in cross-institutional teams to tackle a complex international business case with real-world implications.

Selected students will analyze the case and present their strategic recommendations to a distinguished panel of judges from leading Silicon Valley companies. These judges are highly accomplished professionals recognized for their innovation, global business expertise, and commitment to mentoring future leaders.

Participants will gain:

  • Hands-on, real-world problem-solving experience with Silicon Valley industry experts
  • Valuable networking opportunities with international business leaders
  • Practical career preparation and a strong global business perspective

Teams will receive the case on Friday, February 27, in Forbes Room 126, and will have one intensive day to prepare their analysis. Final presentations will take place on Saturday, February 28, followed by a celebratory lunch and awards ceremony.

Awards will be presented to the first, second, and third-place teams, in addition to individual awards recognizing exceptional performance throughout the competition.

Applications are now open, and students are already applying. Do not miss this opportunity to challenge yourself, expand your network, and showcase your skills on a global stage.

Students who are interested in participating should reach out to their professors for more information on eligibility and next steps.
