Why did you choose Santa Clara University?
I chose SCU mainly because of the people and the community that I perceived when visiting during Preview Day my senior year of high school. Everyone that I met while visiting seemed genuinely happy to be at SCU, and was so friendly even though they had no idea who I was. I feel that SCU has a special school spirit in the fact that we are all Broncos and will be there for each other.

What has been your favorite Leavey School of Business class and why?
Global and Cultural Environment of Business with Professor Michele Goins. Every class was an intriguing, engaging discussion and the time would pass very quickly because of this. Plus, I was lucky to be exposed to many different countries growing up because my parents are both not from the U.S. so I was able to relate my experiences to much of the material studied.

What have you been involved in at Santa Clara University?
I am a Leavey School of Business peer advisor, I am part of the Leavey Scholars program, I am a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity and I am a board member, and I have been working at SCU development office, helping with Grand Reunion Giving.

What was your summer internship and what do you plan to do after graduation?
I interned at Maxim Integrated, a semiconductor company in San Jose. I worked there as an intern in the manufacturing finance group, and learned a ton because my group exposed me to real day-to-day work. I ended up receiving an offer from them, and plan to work there after graduation as a financial analyst in their rotation program.

What is your favorite quote?
"I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are." This is actually a quote from The Pokemon Movie by Mewtwo, a pokemon. I really like this quote because it stresses the importance of going at every day with all you have and making the most of every opportunity that you receive.
