What are you doing this summer? This summer, I'm attending a 10-week intensive culinary school program in Paris. My school, Ecole Ducasse, was founded by 21 Michelin Star Chef Alain Ducasse, and I'm the youngest of thirteen students in my program.
 
What has been the most memorable part of your experience? This experience has been a highlight of my life, but also one of the most intense things I have done. Getting on the metro before 6am every morning and the 8-hour days of strenuous cooking and learning has been extremely difficult, but also unimaginably rewarding. I've made some lifelong connections and learned skills that will truly help me in my career, but more importantly will continue to shape who I am as a person, leader, and chef moving forward.
