Study Abroad: Paris, France
Do you have a favorite class that you are taking? Why?
My favorite class is Paris Cinema. It's fascinating because I get to learn about the history of French cinema and some of the most iconic films that shaped it.
What do you like about your program/university?
What I love about my program is that it offers such a wide variety of activities and excursions. Some of my favorites have been chocolate making, a cooking class, and watching the French Rugby team play against South Africa. There are also fun day trips to places like Brittany and Strasbourg.
What has been your favorite place that you visited so far or favorite part about your city? Why?
My favorite part about Paris is that there is always something new to try. I never get bored; there is always a new restaurant, museum, or street to explore. Plus, everything is very accessible with the metro on almost every corner of the city.
What advice would you give to the Leavey students planning to study abroad next year?
Be open-minded and willing to step out of your comfort zone. Every study abroad program offers something incredible, and the experiences and friendships you make along the way are truly worth it.
