Study Abroad: Rome, Italy
Do you have a favorite class that you are taking? Why?
My favorite class that I'm taking is my Roman Catholicism class. It's an onsite course, meaning every Tuesday I'm out exploring significant religious and historical locations around Rome which has been incredible.
What do you like about your program/university?
I love the community at the John Felice Rome Center. With only around 200 students, the campus community fostered by Wednesday calcio games and school trips has made my time here so worth it.
What has been your favorite place that you visited so far or favorite part about your city? Why?
My favorite part about Rome is the fact that you can find a gelato shop pretty much wherever you go!
What advice would you give to the Leavey students planning to study abroad next year?
My advice to students applying for study abroad is to truly do research about the place that you want to go. Don't just follow your friends or make a decision based off past study abroad stories, instead, make sure you know what the program and city has to offer before making that commitment.
