My name is Katherine Kuwada (pronouns she/her/hers), and I am a 4th-year Child Studies and Psychology double major. Advised by Dr. Barbara O'Brien and Dr. Brett Solomon, I conducted research on the lived experiences and ethnic-racial identity of middle school aged students of color in San Jose. I was recently accepted to U.C Berkeley and Stanford for graduate school. Post graduate school, I hope to become an elementary teacher in urban education.
