Why English?

The SCU English Department fosters creative thinking, effective writing, and analytical skills, all of which served me well as a product manager at a technology company and are essential in my current legal career. I fondly remember the lively discussions of literature, the writing lessons in exposition and argumentation, the challenges in deciphering a medieval text, and especially the professors and fellow students in the English department that make it an engaging and supportive community. There is a unique bond among English majors from all universities and I am glad that I received mine from SCU.
