Marcella Sorrentino
Program Manager, Ciocca Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Marcella was born and raised in the Bay Area and attended SJSU, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies. Since graduating, she has been able to serve the unhoused community and those impacted by the justice system. Her career switch to higher education was ignited when she realized her passion of supporting young adults in an educational setting to pursue their life aspirations and use her educational and vocational experience to support students in a unique way.

During her free time, Marcella enjoys anything music related- going to local concerts, writing music, being in a band, and looking for vinyls to add to her collection. Marcella also loves being outdoors such as going to the beach, camping, hiking, and playing golf or pickleball. Ask her for any local food or activity recs, as she is always updating her Bay Area food and local events list.
