General Information

Located at the heart of Santa Clara University's campus, the de Saisset Museum aims to inspire curiosity, provoke dialogue, and encourage reflection. As one of three South Bay museums to hold accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums, the de Saisset maintains the highest standards in exhibitions, programs, and collections care. The organization was founded in 1955 through a generous bequest from the de Saisset family.

Our mission stands at the core of everything we do. Through a range of diverse and accessible exhibitions, collections, and programs we aim to support Santa Clara University's goal of educating the whole person.

Accreditation

The de Saisset Museum is one of only three museums in the South Bay to hold accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums, the highest honor awarded by the organization.

Museum History
