(Virtual Exhibition)

November 2020 marked sixty-five years since the de Saisset Museum first opened its doors as the de Saisset Museum and Art Gallery. 65 Years and Counting traces how the people, place, and programs changed over the years; highlights little known facts and unique moments in our history; and acknowledges where we've been and where we are going with a critical eye.

Released as a series of "articles" over the course of the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 academic years, this virtual exhibition dives into the museum's history, permanent collection, past exhibitions and programs, as well as contemporary offerings and visions for the future. Through written articles, short videos, interviews, image galleries, and creative reflections, numerous authors, including SCU undergraduate students, participate in telling the de Saisset's story.
