About Us

In response to mounting scientific evidence that low-income communities and communities of color contend with severe and unequal threats to their environments and health, Pope Francis calls us to action in ‘Laudato Si’. We are a collaborative of university faculty, environmental justice organizers, student scholar-activists, and secular and faith based institutions. We aim to leverage partnerships with communities that produce research, inform policy, and foster social change. We will also contribute to building an International Jesuit Network for Environmental and Economic Justice to resource this work.
