This insurance pertains to SCU faculty and staff traveling abroad for teaching, research, or university business.
This insurance covers SCU faculty and staff in most locations, but not all. Upon completing the required 1-Minute Travel Registry, we will verify coverage is valid in the location(s) to which you propose to travel. In addition, for approved university-sponsored travel, the University may purchase additional coverage, if required in certain locations.
- Register Individual Faculty/Staff Travel through the 1-Minute Travel Registry no later than 4 weeks prior to anticipated departure
- If you are an SCU Faculty/Staff member traveling with or supporting students abroad, refer to information on student insurance coverage: Program Coordinator Responsibilities and Resources
- SCU students on approved SCU global programs - refer to Student Insurance Abroad
