Endowments

The formation and education of lay and religious men and women is made possible in large part by the support and contributions from the following endowments.

The Paul L. Locatelli, S.J. Endowed Scholarship for Ministry Students
Established to provide scholarships for lay men and women at JST.

Doelger Scholarship Endowed Fund for the Jesuit School of Theology
Established to provide scholarship support to JST students. Preference will be given to JST students from or ministering to Daly City, California Roman Catholic ministries.

Koch Endowment Spirtuality & Formation
Established to provide scholarship support for religious men and women and laity.

Jesuit School of Theology Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established to provide scholarship support for religious men and women and laity.

Shea-Huesman Endowed Scholarship 
The Fr. John Huesman S.J. Endowed Scholarship Fund, established by the Edmund and Mary Shea Family Foundation, provides scholarships to students attending the Jesuit School of Theology receiveing advanced degrees in theology in preparation for service and ministry in the Roman Catholic Church.

Shea-Huesman Endowed Professorship 
Established as  an endowed professorship in honor of Fr. John Huesman S.J.. 

Elisabeth Tetlow Endowed Scholarship
Established to provide scholarship support for an M.Div woman student.

Carl Gellert and Celia Berta Gellert Foundation Endowed Scholarship
Established to provide scholarship support for an M.Div student.

Tamaki-Seminarian Scholarship 
The Tamaki-Seminarian Scholarship supports a Jesuit scholastic, either from the California Province or from a developing country as determined by the California Provincial.

Thomas & Dorothy Leavey Endowed M.Div Scholarship
Established to provide scholarship support for an M.Div student.

Thomas & Dorothy Leavey Endowed Scholarship
Established to provide scholarship support for lay men and women at JST.

California Province Mission Scholarship
Established to fully fund a scholarship for an individual (lay or religous) from a developing country. 

Michael & Eleanor Buckley Endowed Scholarship
Established to support the formation of students in service to the church. 

Fr. Joseph Daoust Endowed Scholarship
Established to provide scholarship support to students from Africa requiring financial assistance to attend the Jesuit School of Theology.

Fr. John Huesman Endowed Fund 
Established to provide scholarship support to JST students.

Bertelsen Chair of Western Art History and Religion 
Established to endow a chair of western art history and religion studies at JST.

Spohn Family Endowed for Faculty Development
Established to support faculty development in memory of Bill Spohn.

Dwan Family Endowed Chair
Established to support the chair filled by a scholar with experience as well as knowledge of ecumenism and inter-faith dialogue. 

Thomas E. Bertelsen Endowed Scholarship 
Established to support the studies of art history at JST.

Leo Hindery Jr. Immersions Endowment fund 
Established to support JST's immersion program in honor of Howard A. Wheeler, II and in memory of  William F. LeRoux S.J..

The Angelo and Yvonne Sangiacomo Family Endowed Scholarship Fund 
Established to provide scholarship support for religious men and women and laity.

The Robert L. St. Clair, S.J. Jesuit Community Endowed Schp. Fund 
Established to provide financial aid to international members of the Society of Jesus at the Jesuit School of Theology at Santa Clara University.

The Holstein Family Endowed Scholarship Fund 
Established to provide scholarship support for religious men and women and laity.

Norman Martin S.J. Endowed Scholarship for Theological Education 
Established to provide scholarship support for religious men and women and laity.

Bishop John Cummins Endowed Scholarship 
Established to provide financial aid to students at the Jesuit School of Theology. Preference will be given to qualified students from Asia, including the areas mentioned (Mongolia, East Timor, and Nepal).

Paul and Lydia Kalmanovitz Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established to provide scholarship support for religious men and women and laity.
