Gaywyn Moore completed her doctorate at the University of Kansas in Drama and Early Modern British Literature. She specializes in Shakespeare and early modern travel. Her articles include “‘You turn me into nothing’: Reformation of Queenship on the Jacobean Stage,” in Mediterranean Studies (2013); "'Was my sister drowned': Voyaging While Female in Twelfth Night" in Mediterranean Studies (2018); and “English Women, Romance, and Global Travel in Thomas Heywood’s The Fair Maid of the West, Part I” in Travel and Travail: Early Modern Women, English Drama, and the Wider World (2019). She has also co-authored a chapter on “Henry VIII” in The Definitive Shakespeare Companion: Overviews, Documents, and Analysis (2017)
