Stefania Georgeavia, Studio Art major, 2017
Stefania Gueorguieva ’17 will start pursuing her master’s degree in Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington this fall. Her focus is on improving the user experience and usability of medical and educational devices. Stefania was drawn to this field of study due to its conceptual position at the crossroads of design, psychology, and engineering.
Majoring in Fine Art at Santa Clara University has prepared me for this line of study through an emphasis on establishing strong fine art foundations, inclusive critiques, as well as the university’s belief in taking classes in broad artistic subjects.
Anastassja "Tess" Cooper 2016
After graduating from Santa Clara with the class of 2016, Tess moved to Dallas and spent a year to working and building her portfolio while applying to graduate schools. Despite being rejected once before, Tess reapplied to The Cranbrook Academy of Art and was accepted for Fall 2018 into their Masters in fine arts program. This summer she will be moving north to Michigan to prepare for graduate studies and Michigan winters.

I just finished up a year-long volunteer program called Alumni Volunteer Corps through St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco.
Katy Quigg
I started in the San Francisco office of VaynerMedia and I most recently produced an ad for Comcast that aired during the opening ceremonies of the Olympics in Pyeongchang. I also flew to Dallas last month to shoot a commercial for Sonic Drive-In. Now, I'm making ads for Ketel One Vodka. Quite the diverse portfolio! I've been working for VaynerMedia for 5 years now. Three years ago I was promoted and asked to move to New York, where there's more opportunity in the field and I've been here ever since. I absolutely love it here, especially the art scene. I never thought I would end up in the advertising industry, but I love it!
Scott Dow 2009
I am currently a Registrar at Pace Gallery New York. I am part of a dealer office that works primarily with Pace Beijing and Pace Hong Kong. I facilitate all the incoming and outgoing loans and consignments for the dealer office, as well as manage my office’s Pace New York exhibitions. I am also responsible for inspecting and completing condition reports for all incoming and outgoing art for my office.
Maureen A. Lennon 1967
My roommate, Sandy Pelletier and I wanted to teach art; her father, Bob Pelletier, funded the beginning of the degree program at SCU with Phil Welch so we could achieve our goal. Sandy and I are technically the first graduates in the art degree program. Subsequent to SCU, I took all available evening art classes at SJSU, UCSF & UCSC and taught art in San Jose Unified for several years and also, briefly at The Harker School.
Studied with Suzanne Caygill in her first academy in San Franciso in 1981, where I learned her in-depth Four Season Color Harmony System. I continue to do personalized color palettes for individuals based on their personal coloring which provides a color harmony for all that is an extension of the individual - wardrobe, house, business logo, car, stationary, etc. and teach clients how to use their palette to attain a non-verbal communication edge. My personal belief is that the human is the ultimate art form and that there are no mistakes in nature.
