Jay Leupp, CPA is a Managing Director, Portfolio Manager, and Analyst at Lazard Asset Management LLC. Mr. Leupp joined Lazard Asset Management in 2011. Previously he was the Executive Vice President of Grubb & Ellis Company and President of its subsidiary, Grubb & Ellis Alesco Global Advisors. Founded by Leupp in 2006, Grubb & Ellis Alesco Global Advisors manages a family of U.S. and global opened-ended real estate (REIT) mutual funds.
He formerly served as managing director of real estate equity research at RBC Capital Markets, the same role he previously filled at Robertson Stephens. Leupp was vice president of the Staubach Company and development manager at Trammell Crow Residential before entering the securities industry in 1994.
Jay is a 1985 graduate of the SCU Leavey School of Business (B.S.), and a 1989 graduate of Harvard Business School (MBA).
