Forbes Family Conference Room 126, Barsema Conference Room 301 and Kouzes Posner Terrace are now only booking in Astra and no longer available in the Room Reservation Form.
Room Availability
Please check availability on the Lucas Google Calendar before submitting the Room Reservation Form. This can be done by subscribing to the calendars (instructions below).
Please allow 48 hours for your request to be processed.
Faculty, staff, and University-recognized student groups may use the conference room for meetings. Although specific conference rooms may be requested, we will assign rooms based on availability, needs, and the size of your group. University-recognized student groups should ask their faculty/staff advisor for help in securing the rooms. Conference rooms cannot be used as study areas.
Note: If you wish to submit multiple requests at the same time, please use the sample spreadsheet and submit it as an attachment to the form.
To view and subscribe to the calendars, please navigate the following within your Google Calendar:
- Open your calendar and click on the search bar on the left hand side
- Click on the plus sign to the right of "Add a coworker's calendar"
- Select "Browse resources"
- Select "Lucas Hall" from the list of options
- Check off the boxes for the conference rooms you'd like to add
- The new calendars will appear under "Other calendars"
- Reservations will be considered in the order they are received.
Before reserving a room, be sure to look at the room policies for the various Lucas Hall Rooms below.

Classrooms & Outdoor Space
To reserve a classroom you must contact the Registrar's office (registrar@scu.edu; 408-554-4331).
University Events Planning (eventplanningoffice@scu.edu; 408.554.6911) has jurisdiction over the outdoor space outside Lucas Hall (e.g. Lucas Hall Courtyard; Franklin Street Patio).
Project Team / Breakout Areas
To reserve the break-out areas, students may go to the following link https://www.scu.edu/apps/rooms and reserve the breakout area. Preference is given to graduate business students after 4:00 PM. Periodic reviews of all reservations will be conducted to ensure fair usage.
Students are STRONGLY encouraged to reserve the breakout rooms online. This ensures that reservations are password protected and cannot be accidently deleted by other members of the community.
