Professor Andy Tsay was quoted in an article about Apple CEO Tim Cook issuing an apology to Chinese consumers for appearing arrogant in a response to warranty complaints.
According to the newspaper's publisher, as of April 2013, "The Mercury News is now one of the largest newspapers in the country, and our combined Bay Area newspapers reach 1.5 million Sunday readers in print and 2.7 million area adults in our digital and printed newspapers each week."
