Shaohua Lu is an Assistant Professor of Management at Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business. She received her Doctor of Philosophy in strategic management from The Ohio State University. Dr. Lu’s research focuses on firm adaptation to technological changes and resource redeployment under uncertainties with a focus on strategic interactions. She is particularly interested in electric utilities’ transition towards renewable energies in the U.S. electric power industry. She is a member of the Academy of Management and the Strategic Management Society. Prior to her doctoral studies, Dr. Lu worked as a case writer at the Case Development Center of China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
