Jo-Ellen Pozner has recently been elected to a three-year position as representative-at-large for the Social Issues in Management Division (SIM) of the Academy of Management. Scholars in the SIM division study the social issues, institutions, and impact of management and share an interest in understanding the responsibility of organizations and the individuals that work with and within them. Its core foci are therefore on individual and organizational ethics, organization and systemic governance, and stakeholder behaviors, relationships, and systems. As a representative-at-large, Prof. Pozner will serve on the SIM Division's Governance Committee, advising the Division Chair on policy matters, and representing the membership of the Division in organizational decision-making. Prof. Pozner recently completed a three-year term as representative-at-large of the Organization and Management Theory Division (OMT) of the Academy of Management.
