Dale Achabal, retail and marketing professor, was featured in an article about the Westfield Valley Fair Mall renovations.

Dale Achabal, professor of marketing, was quoted in a Mercury News article about the Westfield Valley Fair Mall renovations. While the mall has been open during the renovation, specific details, like which new retailers and restaurants will be opening, has been mostly kept secret. The mall has been under construction for two years and is expected to open late next year.

Professor Achabal discussed his thoughts for the updates to the mall stating, “Valley Fair is betting that this will be the future of malls. It’s not going to be just a mall — it will be an entertainment center with a memorable experience for the consumer. It will be an exciting place to be."
