Dale Achabal, L.J. Skaggs Distinguished Professor and Executive Director of the Retail Management Institute, was a guest on an episode of KPCC’s AirTalk that recapped holiday retail sales numbers and discussed the sudden closure of over 250 Walmart stores.

An excerpt from the piece:
Achabal states,“We used to be very store-based, store-focused and then there was the growth of the Internet and some projected the demise of the brick and mortar store. There’s a clear recognition today that virtually every brick and mortar operator is not a single channel operator.”
