Hersh Shefrin, Mario L. Belotti Professor of Finance, wrote a piece on Twitter’s stock prices and how they may point to coming layoffs, that was published inForbes. 

“Twitter’s recent stock price history is in line with the general pattern for tech stocks that are two years out from the firm’s IPO," he writes. "As Twitter’s saga makes clear, a compelling story can distract investors from taking proper account of the underlying fundamentals.”
