Hersh Shefrin, Mario Belotti Professor of Finance, was quoted in a Bustle article about keeping personal finances organized suggesting the impact of psychology on the management of finances.

Shefrin addresses the genetic and psychological aspect of finance suggesting, “Only 25 percent of us are born with the ‘good’ variant of that gene. Some people are simply better than others at self-control, and neuroscientific studies have shed light on why this is the case.”
