Patrick Machado : Endocyte’s Board of Directors : Nasdaq
Economics alumnus Patrick Machado '86 was recently appointed to Endocyte’s Board of Directors. Endocyte is a biopharmaceutical company that focuses on personalized cancer treatment. He holds over 20 years of financial, legal, and overall business expertise. His most recent role as co-founder, Chief Business and Financal Officer of Medivation, a company focused on prostate cancer treatments, shows his ability to contribute successfully to Endocyte.
"Patrick brings tremendous strategic and operational experience to our Board, particularly in the prostate cancer space. He also has a notable track record of building extraordinary value in companies like Endocyte," said Mike Sherman, president and CEO of Endocyte in a recent press release. "His experience will be particularly valuable as we execute the phase 3 VISION trial and begin to build the infrastructure and capabilities required for potential commercialization of [our products]."
