Business School Takes Silver in Local ADDY Awards

The Leavey School of Business in partnership with Michael Patrick Partners was recognized in the Silicon Valley competition of the American Advertising Awards.

SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 19, 2018—Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business won silver at the Silicon Valley American Advertising Awards, formerly known as the ADDYs, for its most recent enrollment marketing campaign. The campaign, Go Anywhere from Here, was created in conjunction with creative agency Michael Patrick Partners. It was one of more than 10,200 entries submitted to this year’s Silicon Valley competition, judged by creative industry leaders around the nation.

“The overwhelming success of this campaign is incredible,” says Caryn Beck-Dudley, dean of the Leavey School of Business. “Interest and applications across all of our programs are up since it was implemented. This is well-deserved and I am so proud of my team and our collaborators Michael Patrick Partners.”

Developed for undergraduate, graduate and executive audiences, the campaign aimed to bring these disparate groups together using print and digital communication to ultimately grow brand awareness on a national level. It will now move on to the regional competition against other campaigns from Western states, and a chance to move onto the national stage.

The American Advertising Awards, conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation, is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 40,000 entries every year from local ad club competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
