Recognizing Research
Santa Clara University recognized Business School Faculty at annual Faculty Awards celebration.
Siqi Li, Ernst & Young Faculty Research Fellow and associate professor of accounting in the Leavey School of Business, received the University Award for Recent Achievement in Scholarship at the Faculty Awards celebration held on campus Thursday, September 15.
“We are so proud of the work Siqi has accomplished,” said Caryn Beck-Dudley, dean of the Business School. “She is an asset to the School and absolutely deserves this recognition.”
Dan Ostrov, professor of mathematics and computer science, received the Brutocao Family Foundation Award for Curriculum Innovation. Professor Ostrov regularly collaborates with our finance department faculty on research and teaching innovation.
SCU President Michael Engh, S.J. remarked, “I reiterate my gratitude to [the faculty for their] dedication to our students, commitment to the power of a Santa Clara education with its vision of humanistic values, and resolve to build the common good through social justice.”
