SANTA CLARA, Calif. (November 18, 2021)

Santa Clara University’s Part-Time MBA program has again been ranked as one of the best in the nation - earning a No. 16 spot in Fortune Education’s inaugural Best Part-Time MBA Programs list. SCU’s placement on the 2022 rankings rounds out the Leavey School of Business’ top-ranked MBA curriculum, including the No. 15 Online MBA (Fortune) and the No. 25 Executive MBA (Fortune).

“These rankings are especially exciting because it is based not just on the caliber of our faculty, students, and curriculum but also on our reputation and the reputation of our alumni within the larger business community,” Senior Assistant Dean of Graduate Business Programs, Nydia MacGregor said. “Santa Clara is called upon by businesses of all types to support their need for world-class business leaders, and we’re so proud of our alumni and of those relationships.”

In order to determine these rankings, Fortune assesses a variety of factors, including the strength of the incoming class, the school’s brand score and reputation amongst business professionals and hiring managers, and the school’s Fortune 1000 score - that is, how many MBA alumni are executives (C-suite only) at Fortune 1000 companies.

“We are thrilled to see our program recognized for its value as an outstanding business education with access to world-class faculty, an expansive peer and alumni network, and the opportunity to engage directly with Silicon Valley’s corporate front-runners,” Dean Ed Grier said.

Santa Clara’s Evening MBA is a flexible program where working professionals earn degrees in two years. Utilizing a cohort-style course delivery with flexible elective courses and focused concentrations, students customize their curriculum to develop skills in their desired expertise. Designed to leverage best practices of global business innovators and deliver an exceptional education based on real-world applications, students gain unprecedented access to a rich network of peers, professionals, and professors in leadership roles.
