Santa Clara University’s Executive MBA Ranked No. 4 In California

New Ranking Places Program Amongst The Nation’s Elite

Santa Clara University’s Executive MBA program (EMBA) is ranked No. 4 in California, according to the prestigious Poets&Quants recent poll. The publication also ranked the program second in the Bay Area and No. 28 in the country.

SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 2, 2021 – Santa Clara University’s Executive MBA program (EMBA) is ranked No. 4 in California, according to the recent poll from the prestigious Poets&Quants. The publication also ranked the program second in the Bay Area and No. 28 in the country.

This most recent recognition comes on the heels of a No. 13 ranking from US News & World Report, announced earlier this Spring.

The recent poll is the first time that Poets&Quants has ranked Santa Clara’s EMBA, which has become the incubator for Silicon Valley’s next generation of leaders. This past fall, the EMBA program enrolled the largest cohort in its history. The application deadline for this year’s Fall cohort is June 21.

“This ranking is clearly a milestone that acknowledges the rigor that Silicon Valley’s business community and our EMBA graduates expect from the Leavey School of Business and Santa Clara University,” added Toby McChesney, Senior Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs.

The typical Santa Clara University EMBA student is an experienced manager who comes to the program with an executive leadership mindset and 18 years, on average, of business experience. Students average 42 years of age and come from a variety of technology, healthcare, financial services, consulting and government backgrounds.

The EMBA faculty is selected from the nationally-ranked Leavey School of Business and includes award-winning academics and seasoned Silicon Valley practitioners who teach leading-edge market driven curriculum.  The faculty merges practicality with relevant theory.

“This most recent accolade cements the EMBA program in the top echelon of graduate schools in California and in the country.  It is a testament to the quality of future leaders we attract as students and the dedicated faculty who mentor their learning experience,” said Dr. Sarangee, Director of Santa Clara University’s Executive MBA program.
