Toby McChesney Appointed to GRE Business School Advisory Council

Senior assistant dean for graduate business programs, Dr. McChesney to begin three-year term on the council, which provides insight, perspective and information related to domestic and international graduate business school programs.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (September 1, 2020)

Toby McChesney, senior assistant dean for graduate business programs in the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, has been appointed to the GRE Business School Advisory Council. Dr. McChesney will serve a three-year term starting September 1, 2020 along with admissions leaders from business schools around the world who provide insight, perspective and information related to domestic and international graduate business school programs.

Dr. McChesney is an active participant in the Graduate Management Education community, currently serving as the Chair of the Advisory Board for BusinessCAS, Chair of the Jesuit Graduate Business Network, PTMBA Committee Member, MBA Roundtable Symposium 2020 Committee Member and Executive MBA Council 2020 Conference Planning Committee Member.  

"My goal is to continue pushing MBA and MS programs forward for the greater good,” said Dr. McChesney, who has successfully led the graduate programs at the Leavey School of Business over the past four years. “I look forward to working closely with other business school leaders and ETS as we look toward the future of admissions testing and business school trends overall, particularly as we navigate the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
