Areas of Interest at SCU and Leavey: Marketing, entrepreneurship, technology innovation, and leadership development. I’m especially interested in opportunities that connect business with creative strategy.
What are your SCU and Leavey activities/general hobbies: At SCU, I am involved in Delta Gamma, where I serve as the Sexual Assault Director, as well as clubs such as Women in Business, Women in Investment, and Ski Club. Outside of academics, I enjoy running, attending CorePower classes, hiking, spending time outdoors, and creating social media content along with film photography.
What internship/employment opportunities have you taken advantage of at Leavey? None yet, but I am currently exploring opportunities through the Leavey School of Business.
Favorite Leavey Class and Why? My favorite LSB class so far has been Business 70 because it introduced the fundamental concepts of business and how different areas like marketing, finance, and management work together. I enjoyed learning the basics of how businesses operate and it gave me a strong foundation for my future business courses.
What made you choose to attend Leavey? I chose to attend the Leavey School of Business because of its strong reputation, collaborative community, and location in Silicon Valley. I was excited about the opportunity to study business while being surrounded by innovation and companies in the technology industry.
What advice you wish you had while applying to college? One piece of advice I wish I had while applying to college is to focus more on how a school makes you feel rather than just rankings or statistics. When visiting campuses or talking to students, the overall atmosphere and sense of community can tell you a lot about whether it’s the right fit. Choosing a school where you feel comfortable, excited, and supported can make a huge difference in your college experience.
