The Undergraduate Marketing Association is a community of students who love creativity, storytelling, and building brands. We bring people together through hands-on projects, speakers, and events that connect what we learn in class to the real world. We also help students gain insight on marketing-related career paths and appropriate skills through assisting undergrads' efforts to network with alumni and professionals in the marketing world.
 
Coming from a math and finance background, I joined because marketing is where the numbers meet the people, and I wanted to get better at both. After running GTM for a startup, I knew I wanted a community of students who love creating content, testing ideas, and learning from each other.
What I enjoy most is watching members go from sitting in the back at their first meeting to pitching their own ideas with confidence. Helping someone land their first marketing project or internship connection is the most rewarding part of the role.
