The Real Estate Association develops aspiring commercial real estate professionals through a hands-on, student-to-student approach. Rather than relying solely on outside speakers, members build skills directly from peers who have already been through internships and recruiting. That model produces students who arrive in the industry fluent in the tools and confident in the room.

 

I joined the Real Estate Association to learn what commercial real estate actually looked like from students a year or two ahead of me, and those conversations are what prepared me to hold my own in recruiting and land my first internship. Staying on the executive committee is how I pay that back to students that were in my shoes.

 

I enjoy teaching other students about the mistakes I have made so they don't make them themselves.
