Wednesday, 4/12/23: Spring Career Fair from 3-6 pm, Schott Athletic Excellence Center Gymnasium
All Santa Clara University students and alumni are invited to attend our 2023 Spring Career Fair. During the fair, you can:

  • Find part-time, full-time, internship, and volunteer opportunities
  • Network with employers
  • Learn about career opportunities that organizations have to offer
  • View a list of attending employers HERE.

Your Student I.D. is required to enter the fair. This is an IN PERSON event.

Wednesday, 4/05, Career Advisor Social Hour, Drop by Career Answers/Coaching, 3:15 - 4:15, Lucas Hall Lobby - Noel Kreidler, the Assistant Director for Career Development - Business & Entrepreneurship is hosting weekly drop-by Career Advisor Social Hours in the Lucas Hall Lobby most weeks of the Spring Quarter.  These drop-by times are an opportunity to get your career questions answered in a casual environment, and no appointment is necessary.  

Our first Career Advisor Social Hour of the Spring quarter will be held on Wed.. 4/5, 3:15 - 4:15 pm. Get ready for the Spring Career Fair on 4/12 and/or address other career-related questions.  Find more information on Handshake here. Be on the lookout for a Handshake invite and a just-in-time reminder as the date approaches. 

Thursday, 4/06, Resume Lab: Telling Your Professional Story, 12:15 - 1:15 pm (optional until 1:45 pm), Benson Center - Parlors B&C/In-Person - REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED - Join us for Resume Lab: Telling Your Professional Story! Whether you are preparing for the upcoming in-person Spring Career Fair, looking for support in completing a resume assignment for class, or just hoping to get started with your resume before the end of the school year, the career center has your back!

Workshop with us through our one and only resume lab this quarter, where this highly interactive session will move you a step closer to your academic and professional goal(s)!  In preparation for the lab, please create your free Vmock account via Single Sign On (https://www.vmock.com/scu) if you haven't already done so.

Monday, 4/10, Goodbye Sweatpants, Hello Slacks: An In-Person Career Fair Walk Through, 12:00 - 2:00 pm, Benson Center - Parlors B&C/In-Person -  Get out of your sweatpants, get your head out of the clouds, and immerse yourself in the crowds: prepare for SCU’s upcoming in-person Spring Career Fair. Register on Handshake. Drop by Parlors B&C anytime between 12-2 pm for the Career Center’s first-ever in-person career fair walk-through. In a simulated fair environment, go from booth to booth to:

  • Learn how to dress for success
  • Get your resume questions answered
  • Discover in-person fair etiquette
  • Develop, practice, and deliver a compelling elevator pitch, and
  • Create a plan of action to prioritize and maximize your time at the fair

Thursday, 4/13, Coffee Chat with Cornerstone Research, 10:00 - 12:00 pm, Benson Center - Stop by for coffee and meet a recruiter from Cornerstone Research! No need to dress up or bring a resume. Simply bring your authentic self and be ready to engage in authentic conversations with a recruiter!
