Summer Peer Advisors 2026
The Leavey School of Business Peer Advisors are trained upper-division students who work with first-year students on course selection and class registration. Peer Advisors will be present during orientation sessions to support you in your advising session, help you register for your fall courses and quarter, provide online resources, and answer any questions.
Take a moment to get to know our awesome Peer Advisors who are excited to welcome you during Orientation!
Shreya Dusankar
Major: Management Information Systems (MIS)
Minors: Responsible AI, Graphic Design, & Entrepreneurship
Hobbies: I love to watch movies, listen to music, and spend time with my friends doing something fun!
Piece of Advice: One main piece of advice is to try to get involved as much as possible. Especially as a freshman, going to a bunch of events and signing up for any clubs that interest you in the slightest, is an amazing way to get to know other people and learn where your passion lies. It’s always a really great experience to be part of various different activities and find a sense of belonging in the spaces where you feel align with your interests and values the most.
Major: Marketing
Minor: Business Analytics
Hobbies: I enjoy running, going to the beach, scrapbooking, ice skating, and exploring new food places.
Piece of Advice: It's always better to get out of your comfort zone and try new things and get involved in as many activities as you can! You will always end up meeting your people eventually, especially those that have the same interests as you!
Major: Accounting
Hobbies: I enjoy hanging out with my tuxedo cat, swimming, and traveling (Taiwan, Mexico, Italy, and France were some of my favorites). I also am an avid avgeek (aviation geek), and an elections/politics nerd!
Piece of Advice: Talk to as many people as you can, especially during orientation and the first couple weeks of school! I found one of my best friends during orientation, and another on a freshman Into the Wild trip to Big Sur. If you're unsure of which clubs to join, I recommend joining organizations that are similar to what you were involved with in high school as the first place to start!
Major: Finance
Minor: Business Analytics
Hobbies: Don’t be afraid to try new things and talk to as many people as you can!
Piece of Advice: I love to spend time with my friends and family, listen to music, go on walks, and watch new movies!
Major: Marketing
Minors: Business Analytics & Retail Studies
Hobbies: I love to do nails, watch the sunset, and spend time hanging out with friends!
Piece of Advice: One piece of advice I would give is to try new things and join organizations. You never know who you might meet and the experiences you would make by stepping out of your comfort zone!
Our Peer Advisors look forward to connecting with you and helping you make the most of your time at the Leavey School of Business. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at lsb-peeradvisor@scu.edu.
