Qiuwen Li Receives Miller Center Planning Grant
Qiuwen Li (Art and Art History), a Miller Center Faculty Scholar, received a Planning Grant from the Miller Center for Global Impact to support collaborations with social enterprises through her graphic design courses. This quarter, students in her Website Design and Information Design classes are working with Cloudwell and Ignis Careers to develop website and infographic designs that support the organizations’ missions and communicate their social impact.
Through these real-world projects, students work directly with social entrepreneurs to understand their needs, develop design empathy, and create meaningful visual solutions. The experience also helps students build professional portfolios while exploring how graphic design can contribute to social change.
