Erika currently works in family law, teaches in the SCU Law School as an Adjunct Professor, and attends as many Sharks hockey games as possible!

"I was a Classics major and graduated from SCU in 2016. Since then, I went to law school at SCU law (double bronco!) and graduated in 2020. I took the California Bar in 2020 (in the middle of the pandemic, it was horrible), and passed on the first attempt. I have been working as a family law attorney since becoming barred and was elevated to Senior Associate Attorney at my law firm. I work at the Law Offices of Fadem & Associates. I handle all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, support issues, domestic violence, and property division. I also represent parties in guardianship and adoption actions, as well as represent minor children in high conflict custody actions. My firm specializes in a niche area of family law that involves domestic and international jurisdiction issues, as well as International Child Abduction matters under the Hague Convention.

In my spare time (sarcasm), I am also an adjunct professor at SCU law, teaching Community Property in the Spring semester.

I have the most adorable, bestest dog in the whole world who I adopted during the pandemic. Her name is Clio (yes, after the Greek Muse). I'm obsessed with her and I put photos of her in all of my slides because law school is hard. My partner, Pablo, and I have been together for 8 years and will be engaged soon :). We are currently deep into our hockey era (go Sharks!) and go to as many games as we can. I read a lot of fantasy and romance and am a part of a very serious book club comprised of young professionals. We meet once a month religiously and do at least one retreat a year.

I have my full attorney bio on my firm's website."
