"I’m originally from San Jose, CA. I came in loving Greek myths, but what really kept me hooked were the classes that made the ancient world feel alive, especially Latin courses and seminars where we dug into how people in the past thought, wrote, and created stories. Some of my favorite projects have been my senior thesis on floral masculinity in myth and the many chances I’ve had to work closely with ancient texts in both Latin and translation. After graduation, I’m hoping to stay connected to the ancient world, whether through graduate study or work in museums, archives, or research. "
