2016 Fulbright winners
Alumna Stephanie Goodman’15, Public Health and Political Science double major and Senior Lindsey Allen, Political Science major with minors in communication and Arabic, Islamic, and Middle Eastern Studies have been awarded Fulbright Grants to study and serve abroad. Stephanie will go to Ghana to evaluate the effects of enrollment in the government’s National Health Insurance Scheme on trauma-related mortality. Lindsey will work in Morocco to create a typology for social entrepreneurship as an economic growth strategy and as a way to develop “human capital” for social change. Congratulations to Stephanie and Lindsey. Thanks to the faculty, staff, and student peer advisors in Political Science who encourage students to earn high honors for their hard work and civic spirit!
